Finally, something smooth and rough that you can dance to!

This is horrid. Why do you people exist?

it's not bad but just giving constructive advice, it needs a little work. All around though good just needs to be tweaked in multiple areas like the Sax near the end to me it kinda killed it, but everything else was good

LOL even Christopher Walken sings better than Lady Gaga! xD Great cover! LOVE IT!

this is aweful and it certainly is NOT jazzmetal/jazz/metal. its honestly just really bad. The sax playing is terrible and is not remotely close to jazz unless you think kenny g is good. then you still fall short. the metal side. And for the record their is PLENTY of jazz that uses odd meter.... but... i listened to the whole thing like you said and the CW part was funny. the recording quality isnt bad though but other than that this sucked. now everyone start hitting the thumbs down lol.

Kenny G comparisons are relevant only to the extent that he plays mostly melodies and covers, which, for this particular song, is somewhat accurate, although a good 1/3 of the song is more black metal and free jazz than pop. Also, if you take the sum of ALL jazz music (from about 1900 on), I'd venture to say that over 80% of it is in 3 or 4. That's a solid "most" in my book. Regardless, being that this is a cover, it's our least jazzy and metal-y song, but we're inarguably a jazz-metal band.

this isn't jazz or metal. it's an amateur recording of a pop song cover. Just because there's a saxophone doesn't make it jazz and just because there's a distorted guitar doesn't make it metal.

You're right, it's not jazz or metal. It has elements of jazz (the phrasing of the sax lines, the sound of the cymbals), and it has elements of metal (heavy palm-muted guitar, punchy bass guitar), and this song happens to be a cover of a pop tune. This is what I think "jazz-metal" should sound like, rather than the tech-death bands that declare that they have jazz influences because of odd time signatures (not present in most jazz). Why do you say amateur recording, though?
