God love the Staple Singers! That's the difference between people who are real musicians and great at what they do versus today's pop stars, the vast majority of which are nothing more than glorified Karaoke singers who not only don't write music but don't really understand it at all. Put some sheet music in front of them and all you'd get is a blank look from them.
