First to second gear at 50, second to third at 80....either you're driving a lamborgini (obviously not) or you've got the wrong speedo gear on buddy....the slow moving scenery gave you away anyways...

@LVEbonys First to second at 50 and second to third at 80 is not off. Thats how these fox bodies are with the 2.73 or 3.08 gears they have.

That's how you shift with gears and NOS...and in that clip, the guy is doing 0-100.

@fordman500 Interesting. You must have very light gears in the back 2.73/3.08 maybe? Doing this with taller gears and....a supposed 120 shot of nitrous...? Sorry, this guy is using the wrong speedo gear. I watched your video and you have an AOD. I owned several Fox Mustangs and with a 2.73/AOD combo I can do 80MPH @1850RPM and I easily hit 140mph several times with plenty of gear to spare. Just watch the scenery at his supposed top speed. He's not so far away you can't tell.

@LVEbonys actually first will take you to about 45-50 and second will take you to about 90. i know that for a fact. i gps'ed my mustang and how far i can take each gear. 50 in first and 90 in second third will take a 5.0 damn near to 140.

@blindskater200 Well the Mustang is what I meant, since this a Mustang video. Although I didn't know the Explorer used it for that many more years. The 4.6 was a superior engine in almost every way.

@Quatermain98526 Last 5.0 to be put in Mustang's. Ford kept using the 5.0 til like 2001 in the Explorers.
