Actually it is simple, he is trying to whip them into shape and sometimes the only way to do that is tell it like it is. This is exactly the same technique a coach uses on his football team at half time in the locker room before the second half of the game when they are losing. Tough but it gets your attention.

oh, i'm sorry someone posted this. he was a good guy and the best drummer ever. why try to sully his reputation with a moment's indiscretion? how do we know it's even really him?

@bigotrysux This is the real world. Buddy Rich was the best drummer, but he was also the biggest ass of the time. Look into it a little; I think you'll be surprised.

You people, musicians tend to wear there emotions on there sleaves, there been fights in big bands, they are lucky he didn't fire them and find there way home. It happens on cruise ships all the time. When you play with the best most of your life and the people you pay for perfection misses cues and so on so forth, then this is what you get, check his band out, tighter than spandex on Kim Cardashians booty!!
