@thepackripper89 oh I see how it works. Thanks for the advice!

@StevenSupernatural They wouldn't recruit you kid. I was in NCPD For 20 years, then I retired, and became a Captain For the Phoenix Police Department. On average more then a thousand people apply for Nassau. About only 5 to 8 make it. To be picked you should have a 3.0 gpa. Have a bachelors degree. And ten years in Nypd. Exactly what I did. If you know anyone on the force in Nassau you wouldn't need all that crap I just said. My son passed the academy, and I got him right in. Good Luck.

@SGTS1MMONS Yea. As much as that's true, 106 G after 5 years, and not working the streets of harlem at night on a beat is so much more appealing haha

Im thinking about becoming a cop in Suffolk. Nassau is cool too though

@StevenSupernatural their both good departments but it hard to get on either, most of the guys on the job out her are ex nypd guys or transports from other departments

@SGTS1MMONS But if im a young kid in great shape wouldn't they jump to recruit me instead of a 40 year old, even though he has great experience?

@StevenSupernatural Well it's not that, it's the 25 year old NYPD patrol men and women who have the experience, the education, and the street time. They want NCs better pay, and NC usually gets to hire the best of the best from other departments because of that. So you'd be better of in nypd, then trying to getout to NCPD or Suffolk
