Demonstration of an alto PVC-pipe flute with Ney-style (vertical) and transverse flute-style mouthpieces.
The fingering on this flute is very similar to Baroque recorder fingering. Though I'm not demonstrating it here, it is fully chromatic by cross fingering and a few half-holed notes (high and low G#, low F#).

Thanks for the video. Did you use a cork, however, for the transverse conversion?
