So bittersweet this is. Carmen is so vibrant and so alive, doing what she was born to do. Even though she was near death filming this show, her presence makes me laugh with delight.

This is the first time I've seen Carmen Miranda without fruit on her person!

What a terrible irony. She sings about "heartache" at the very beginning and, later that same night, she suffers a heart attack and passes away. Oh Gosh, I hope she is having the best after life ever! Hahaha! She deserves it.
Regards from Brazil!

What's a strange coincidence! In this music she is singing in portuguese (a samba called "Delicado") she starts singing exactly this: "When I hear Delicado, i fell a pain just here on my side, just here on my HEART. "
Really, this was the last music she performed ever, and a few hours later, she died by heart attack.

she was born in Portugal, raised in Brazil damn .I always thought she was the Chiquita banana lady lol also unbelievable that she had a heart attack during this show
What a professional to finish the show while in agony...she tried so hard to please her fans. Rest in heavenly peace, Carmen.
