i was just babysitting at church today and they were all fussy, so i broke out my ipod which has a speaker, and played the entire return to pooh corner album. after this i dont think i have ever seen those newborn babies so calm. they all fell asleep. i think kenny loggins puts drugs in his music.

i used to acctually have this song on tape and i listened to it every night. i just got it on c.d and i now know all the new song on there. when i was little i never stayed awake long enough to hear anything past the third song on there

Such a beautiful song. :) KL has a whole page on his website dedicated to letters people have written him about how that album touched their lives. Some are very sad, while others are really touching and happy. I recommend everyone check it out.

When I was in 2nd grade, my mom bought the "Return to Pooh Corner" tape for me, and I listened to it before I went to bed nightly. When I moved out of the room my sister and I shared, I lost it somewhere in the shuffle. Devastated is putting it mildly, b/c my mom died a few years earlier. A couple of weeks ago I was browsing the clearance section of Half Price Books, and found the CD. I now play it for my 3 month old son before he goes to sleep...you could say I'm passing something on. :)

I remember hearing this tune on that episode of Full house where Jesse, Danny and joey sing to Jesse's kids, Nicky and Alex.
