Going to main CM! ... just bought the game, had a dozen or so matches, still a long way before mastering him.
Also, ~wtf~ with the match making system? pitting me against one of the top 10 players (10k+ wins)... at least I didn't went down with a flawless defeat.

i cant do kombo challenges~! for some odd reason i do the kombos and nothing! i timed it right and everything. any tips so i can actually complete one?

There's a trick to #1. After you do down,back,X just do forward Y. (On PS3 it's down,back,square,forward,trian gle.) Even though the second move should be back,forward,Y the game already recorded back from your first move.
Also, there is no flash to tell you when to do the second move. Do it immediately. You might have to do it slightly slow to get it to connect. (Or not.)

Well, it means to do the move when the white flash is on the screen. Except on #1, no flash appears!
Instead of doing the kombo the way it is listed, do this instead:
360: down,back,X,forward,Y
PS3: down,back,square,forward,triangle
Captain Marvel #1 happens to be the most misprogrammed kombo challenge in the game! Hope this helps. btw, you'll do it this way again in #3.
