A significant sum of the money donated to Samaritan's Purse is earmarked for witnessing and conversion staff and materials. It is not possible for them to operate as efficiently or deliver the same amount of relief to those in need as an organization dedicated to this cause alone. Their tax-exempt status should be carefully questioned.

Why not give them what they need the most without the heavy religious recruiting pitch? Oxfam and other great organizations spend their dollars on clean water, medicine, housing, food, and life skills training for people in need. They don't spend it on religious recruiting, so their operations are more efficient. Their gifts come with absolutely no strings attached. This is the purest, most selfless form of giving. It is more loving than any other because it truly expects nothing in return.
