This was when Taker and Kane were in cahoots to screw Stone Cold.
That night Taker tell some truths to Vince and ask for being the # 1 contender. But Vince made a match betwwen Take, Kane and Mankind to determine the # 1 contender. However only Kane and Mankind appeared for the match and this happened in very dark lights, so that nobody realize it was Taker dressed as Kane and become the # 1 contender for Summerslam against Stone Cold.
