i love this band, they are shit hot and even got to see them live a T IN THE PARK 2001 and fuck they rocked us mad Scots. its a dam shame they arent about anymore.

I was SO at this gig. Dermot bought me a pint (bloody nice fella!) That was the first time I'd heard of JJ72, let alone seen them. Totally blown over by them (and I fell a bit in love with Hilary...who didn't?!. Shame that politics and bad promotion let them slip away. They were from the same batch of "next to be great"s as Coldplay, Muse etc

Christ crazy to see that fella Dermot so young. You're spot on with the whole bad promotion & being in the next batch of greats. Mark is in a new band Concerto for constantine, but they seem to be keeping very low key over the past 3-4 years. Must be heartbreaking for Mark to see such potential success slip right through his fingers
