PS2 DISK READ PROBLEM FIX

IF your ps2 is reading blue color disks and sometimes PS1 disks but not Dual Layer disks or not reading disks at all, than this will do the trick

hey i have a question. my ps2 was dropped and fell on the bottom side of the console. it still turns on and everything, its just when i was inspecting it i could a hear a tiny noise moving around inside the console when tilting it(turned off). just want to know if i should open it up or just keep it as it is?

Thanks a lot Luke. However I wasn't confident enough in myself to try getting to the under lenses for the laser, and instead opted to just clean off the top. This, with a little calibration for the lasers focus ended up being enough for me. I'd recommend anyone not completely confident in taking it apart to try this first as it might save you a step and is less risky.
