Human Beings: please stop using the word 'emo.' The term reflects upon the mall culture of the mid-late 2000's. This is punk rock.
-
@solidone though i don't know any other recent emo band that has the rites of spring sound... there is a new emo scene that recovers the sound of 90's emo/indie... empire! empire!, castevet...
-
Emo is everything, everything is emo.

The World is my Fuse

@thescarletsilence You do know the gonra is emo (aka early screamo) Not the band, right? Emo didn't mean the same in the 80's
-
that too
-
Emo or not, THEY FUCKING RULE!!
... too bd they disbanded :(
-
no. emo is a style of music like this band that developed in the late 80s that died
and doens't exist anymore
-
actually its a style of cloathing, and thats pretty much it...the whole "sensative" thing is just a big steryotype
a lot of emos get sensative and depressed becasue people make fun of them but before they were made fun of they were just regualr people...
-
tell that to a bunch of christian emo's.
Emo now, isn't emo ...
It's completely different.
It didn't evolve into a life style, what that flashy hair, and eyeliner crap is now, is just scene ...
Get it right .

too bad "emo" didnt continue going in this direction instead of the dribbly flaccid fake mall punk we are saddled with now.
Rites of Spring were WAY ahead of the curve. I dont think even they realized it ...until well after they broke up. Dammit.
