  • Anybody have any idea of how he's pulling that off? I know that he made the transition to Traktor 2010 ish, but that time warping is far beyond Traktors pitch shifter and FX capabilities - i think. Sampler Maybe?

  • @matthill163 if you got something, please tell us :) we will need somebody who was standing behind James during the show. maybe he can tell us, what kind of equipments did he use..

    SiNUS1982 any idea?

  • The tune he is mixing A new error in is Makossa & Megablast - Juno Ride ( Gigolo Records )

  • Not only is the first transition absolutely mindblowing, the second one (going into Petter - Left Turned is amazing as well) Holden is at an ENTIRELY different level. No one comes close.

  • I got a good close-up look (as in right in front of it) of his Laptop at Silo on April 9 and it looked like he had customized the program with some really freaky extra stuff. I would not be surprised if he had written some software of his own for that purpose.

  • @matthill163 First I trying out reverse grain in traktor, but I think transpose stretch is better. However I think he's using something extern, it sounds way better the way he's doing it

  • @hunb1k3r Only a bit of guess work but im pretty sure its a sampler that he's used to capture a bar of Juno Ride and then just slow it down. Saying that, its sort of replicable using Traktor Pro's reverse gain effect...just doesn't sound as good. This is probably pre-traktor and just some good old fashioned ingenuity. Whatever he's using he's done a fine job of it.

  • @matthill163 I'm asking myself the same question. I'm using traktor but I don't understand how he's doing this. Did you find out yet?

  • ..best party since 3 years ;-)

  • da hat er den new error aber mal ganz gut nach oben gepitcht:) soooooo nice
