Part 2. ...LOUPS was released in the U.S.

in the '70s as the THE HEIST(there are several in the film, and one robbery is accompanied by a cue that is as good as the main theme), in a weirdly edited version that doesn't censor, but seems to

rearrange and alter sequences and dialogue. This use to be on vhs under the same title, and it is now available from

Something Weird as CARBON COPY

(awful title). Same print, minus some

overdubbing, but jumps during an armored car heist. Buy for music.

I highly recommend CHANSON DE FILMS by the composer's best friend and frequent collaborator Charles Aznavour.

The cd is available as I write at Amazon,

for $10 + postage. There are 4 cues from

the film plus a vocal by Aznavour(a co-star), plus other french films scored by

Garavarentz. The entire score to ...LOUPS

is terrific, but only an ep was issued(the

cd's 4 cues). Also on vinyl in Asia on what looks to be an lp, but I have no idea what

tracks are included.
