John Baeza is a retired police officer from the NYPD, and his views on the War on Drugs lead him to join Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.

We discussed the NYC policies of stop & frisk, the disproportionate effect it has on minorities in this country, the recent Holder memo to leave states alone, whether that memo has any teeth like the Ogden memo claimed to have, if the timing of it was a political distraction for Syria, how either way they will be defeated by the gratuitous use of the 10th amendment in this area, and why the future is bright in terms of drug policy reform.
