I've been resizing 100s and I knew there must've been a quicker method out there, and Irfanview had it all along. I've been using this software for 10 years now and I didn' t know about this feature.

This was precisely what i needed to do with this program which I have been using for many years. Thanks for the great tip!
i needed an option called "include subdirectories" , i added 6517 images (7mpx, 25 gigs) and i'll see how it works :)

Yes, the "include subdirectories" function is also available in the batch conversion menu. You may want to check the "create subfolders in destination folder" checkbox in advanced conversion settings to receive even the original folder structure.
