BTW, the first time I saw this I was convinced that Beckett pulled away first but after watching it about 100 times, I'm not quite sure. As soon as she said Castle he kind of let go and then she dropped her hand. If she wanted to say something more, she should have called him by his less formal name Rick. However, Beckett is still not at all ready to dive into that yet with Castle. She's coming close, but she's just not ready. Castle sensed that & that's why he left in a hurry!

It is this scene that castle figured out she loves him back. The way she said "castle" so softly, and she was about to say something else and he let go. She wanted more. The smile she gave afterward was also a sign too.

@squinn1201 the way he continues after noticing her reaction shows that he wanted to move it further. he leaves in a hurry cause he feels caught in the act. since the Rise talk he’s careful to give her space. if he realised the full extent of her feelings leaving is the last thing he’d do. yeah he senses she remembers more than she admits. still he’ll be hurt (rightly). also now i’m confused what she really wanted to say. i’d like a sign of frustration after he left to make it clear.

@PauseTheTragicEnding Castle almost seemed nervous as he left. He sure got out of there in a hurry. I think at that moment Castle realized that Beckett is in love with him and he freaked out a bit. When her secret is revealed I really don't think he will get that mad. Castle is so observant, I know he suspects that she remembers more than she claims.

@squinn1201 same here. first her "Castle" sounded like "what are you doing" to me but now it's like "i need to tell you something". i'm sure now she wanted to tell him she remembers everything. but i actually think she IS ready to dive into it. that's why she wanted to come forward. and he saw that she liked what he's doing. i guess he's just too used to her rebuffing him to consider anything else when she starts to speak. and then her courage was gone :(
