@susterovic i may not have even reached the point of GCSE ( i'm in yr 9) but if central st martins see your work and they like it, you could get in like that, they see talent, not letters on an exam. this is not to say they dont like good grades, its more likely you get in with decent grades. just keep that in mind and good luck.

I miss Long Acre!
Generally, is there any chance to get a place at BA design course without foundation diploma?

@Poprostujaola Thank you for your interest. You must have either a Foundation or a BTEC National Diploma if you are applying for a practical degree. We also accept equivelant qualifications. Best of luck!

How about the German Abitur? Is it comparable to the A-Levels and could I directly apply for a BA in Graphic Design? Does it matter what "Leistungskurse" and "Grundkurse" I took??

Thank you for your interest in Central Saint Martins. The German Abitur is the equivalent to A-levels in the UK. You need to have at least one main subject in an art or design during your Abitur. Ideally After your Abitur / A-levels you first need to complete a one year Foundation course in Art & Design before you can apply to BA Graphic Design. Please visit our website for all the relevant information on our Foundation course in Art & Design.

If i get a strong design portfolio, and achieve an ABB or similar with the A in product design at A2, would i still need to take a foundation course to take on Product or 3D Design?

Yes, Ideally you first need to complete a Foundation course in Art & Design Diploma Level 4 before applying to BA Product Design after your A-levels. Please visit our website for all the relevant information on our Foundation course in Art & Design. The application period is from end October 2010 - 29 January 2011 for the course starting in September 2011.
