    What a horrible shame we dont have this now! We dont have music anymore, just kids produced by record labels.! They cant sing and dont have funk for sure!!

    I grew up in the shadow of Motown.....Loved every performer that hailed from the tiny studios. The Funk Brothers were larger then life. Hidden in shadows themselves.

    Joan Osborne hit it right on the head with Heat-Wave of course shes backed by the engine of the FUNK BROTHERS.....Fabulous.....than­k you from the bottom of my heart for the music.

    This is so good it damn near makes ya cry. Thank you Funk Bros for all the amazing music through the years. I hate to put a negative in here but I have to. Linda Rondstats version of this song sucks, I hate when someone ruins a great song but Joan did it right, Awesome !

    I'd give my eye teeth to see The Funk Brothers and Joan Osborne perform! I can't believe they were in concert together in Detroit and I had no idea. What a show that must have been!
