4 Challenges - Credits, Clois, Broadway and Spin-Offs *WINNERS POSTED*

**I AM IN THE PROCESS OF JUDGING!! SORRY IT'S TAKING SO LONG! I'VE BEEN BUSY WITH SCHOOL AND STUFF! AS OF TODAY, OCTOBER 9, 2008, I HAVE 2 OF THE 4 CHALLENGES JUDGED ALREADY SO RESULTS ARE COMING HOPEFULLY WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO! SORRY FOR THE DELAY!**

It's time for a few challenges!! These are designed to challenge you vidders to try new things and get creative in your video making so I REALLY hope you are up for the challenge!! There are 4 challenges you can enter!!

CHALLENGE 1:

For this challenge you are to make your opening credits for ANY TV show using a DIFFERENT show's theme song! For example, you could make an opening credit sequence for "Smallville" and use the "One Tree Hill" theme song "I Don't Want To Be" by Gavin Degraw. But you can NOT use the theme song for the show you're making the credits for!! Please keep the credits under 1 minute 30 seconds. You MUST credit the main actors of the show vidded for! You MAY use characters that are not in the original show's credits but you MUST credit them and include the actors that do appear in at least one of the seasons' opening credits! You can NOT just put one theme song in place of credits for a different show! It MUST be original :)

Challenge 2:

Season 8 is going to be the season for the rest of the build up for Lois and Clark! To celebrate, this challenge is just for Lois and Clark on "Smallville"! However, there is a catch. You are ONLY allowed to use clips where neither Lois nor Clark are influenced by any outside force. So you can NOT use the clips in 'Apocalypse,' 'Bizarro,' 'Crimson,' 'Crusade,' 'Hypnotic,' 'Noir,' 'Spirit,' and 'Spell' in which Lois and/or Clark are under some influence beyond their control. However, there are scenes within these episodes where Lois and Clark are themselves and you ARE allowed to use those clips. Just use clips that both Lois and Clark are themselves!! You can use ANY song you want!

Challenge 3:

For this challenge you are to make a music video using a song from the soundtrack of any movie that has been made from a Broadway play! It can be of a TV Show or a Movie! You Choose! But the song MUST be from the soundtrack of the movie (NOT the Broadway production)!! I know the video says no Disney songs but I will allow Disney songs for the movies that are also Broadway plays!! But the songs must be from the Disney movie soundtrack!!

Challenge 4:

A spin-off is a show based on a minor character from another hit show! For this challenge, you are to take a character from one TV show who is not the main character. For example, you cannot take Clark Kent from "Smallville" since the show already focuses on him but you can take characters like Lana Lang or Lex Luthor. Anyway, you are to make a promo for a TV show that would star this character. Make a commercial/advertisement like you would see on TV. You can use ANY song(s) you'd like but please keep the whole video under 4 minutes!! You are allowed to use characters from other TV shows as well to make it more interesting but make sure it's clear that the show will revolve around the character chosen for the spin-off! You MAY also take a couple from the show and make a spin-off for them! For example, "Joanie Love Chachi" was a spin-off of "Happy Days." And do NOT forget to give your spin-off a title :)

NO PICTURE SLIDE SHOWS FOR ANY OF THE CHALLENGES!! YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER AS MANY ENTRIES AS YOU WANT!! ALL VIDEOS ENTERED MUST BE ORIGINAL!!

Videos can be new or old so long as they qualify =D

Prizes:

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each category!!

1st place winners will get me as a friend, a subscription from me, and comments on 8 of their videos as well as a background picture made by me of their request!

2nd place winners will get me as a friend, a subscription from me, and comments on 5 of their videos!

3rd place winners will get me as a friend and a comment on 3 of their videos!!

Each contestant, since I believe you are all winners, will get a comment on your entry video!!

i'm really sorry it's taking so long. i have 3 of the categories judged and decided already. i've just been so busy to judge the last one and get the winners up. but tomorrow's my last midterm so hopefully that'll clear up some time and i can get them up within the next week! again, sorry it's taking so long :)
