Not ONCE does Osteen mention, in ANY of his interviews or sermons, that his goal is to preach the TRUTH. Which if he did would, obviously, include details about the nature of sin(see the letter of James) and the consequences for those who PRACTICE sin and are unrepentant.
Instead, Joel is all about FEEL GOOD MINISTRIES. He tickles the ears of those that come to hear him and all he cares about is them walking away feeling GOOD about life and about this, that or the other.

@zachp95 None of those things would give you good reason to believe that the Bible is the word of God, even if you were correct about them. But just out of curiosity, what are some examples? Name the BEST example you have of each of those things. Prophecy, archaeology, science, and ... what exactly do you even mean by "well manuscripted"?

@zachp95 What specific prophecies have come to pass that you consider to be evidence that the Bible is the word of God? How did the Earth harbor plant life BEFORE THE SUN EXISTED? In fact, how did the Earth exist at all? Do you know that planets and solar systems form out of accretion disks that surround stars? The Biblical creation story contradicts science. Also, "well manuscripted" does not equal "Word of God". Name a few more reasons.

@Visda58 Well, the fact that it tells the future in the prophets, matches up with archeology, teaches us about science more than science could tell us about science, and that it is the most well manuscripted book in the history of the word. Just to name a few reasons.
