United Nations, New York, 8 June 2009: The United Nations is leading a powerful new campaign to encourage governments to seal the deal on a fair, balanced and effective agreement on climate change when they meet at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, in December 2009. There are many reasons why we need to seal the deal on a new climate change agreement and in this series, UN officials will look at how climate change is affecting various aspects of human development and how we can do something about it.

CO2 feeds the plant life ( grade 6 science), so i would suggest to start planting trees, quit cutting down the rain forests and take care of pollution not co2. Mt. St. Helens erupted in the 80's sending up more co2 than we could in a hundred years, God made this planet to be able to handle such gases, lets deal with the real problems and not the agenda of the liberals to line their pockets with more of our money

Dear Ban Ki-Moon...your sincerity and compassion moves me deeply. Together we can do this, we must do this, and we must make ourselves aware enough to see through the false solutions supplied by those who have vested interests in maintaining the status quo while offering what only appears to be "clean energy solutions". Money is not the power in this world!
