Maybe if you had thought to put a fleece blanket in her cage to sleep she would not have felt bored and slept peacefully, (just a thought) no harm meant by this comment (also the cage was rather small for this dog)

It is a pure lack of 2 issues here, 1. a dog with no job and 2. the dog is not buring off it's natural energy daily outdoors, i wouldn't be surprised if it has a poor diet boosted with too much high protein and sugar in it . Follow my advice and all this negative behavior will end with the K-9, the owners need training from a serious k-9 handler not a local k-9 joker trainer. A cage in a house? What next? They should learn about their dog's breed. The owners are the problem here.
