The Saddest Moment In Dark Souls

Short backstory:

This is Quelaan, the leader of the Chaos Covenant. She's blind.

Earlier in the game you kill her sister, Quelaag and retrieve her soul.

Because you have Quelaag's soul, Quelaan think's you're her.

Her last thought is that she was murdered by her sister.

The first time I met Quelaan, I had the Old's Witch Ring equipped because I didn't have anything better. Killed Quelaag and thought I'd accomplished something, then when I met her, and she starts with "Quelaag?" I was like OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE.

the saddest part of the game is the stupid ending. at the start it had an intro movie. should have been one at the end.

I think the saddest moment is when you're fighting the wolf and you beat him down to about 10%. At this point his attacks fail completely, he begins dragging his feet. limping and falling over. One of the hardest optional bosses in the game is no threat anymore and I think every player who got that far was looking for a way for not having to kill him. At least I did. The sad music in the background does it's part too.

I thought this would be the part where you see Solaire praising his new found sun as it drives him insane and you have to kill him in his state of euphoria. Now that truly is the saddest moment of Dark Souls.
