To all JKD enthusiasts, of course JKD works. If you meet a burglar or a thug in the street, JKD will definitely work. To all UFC lovers, of course JKD doesn't work. Not in the Octagon against a professional MMA fighter. JKD works only in real life. To beat a professional MMA fighter, all I need is about ten or so armed fighters skilled in their weapon of choice, and we'll beat the crap out of him.

life never asked for preference. Were all different in size, weight, muscular tone, cardio endurance, flexibility, being coordinated, eye to hand reaction..to say you can prepare yourself for a fight is silly. Although you can most certainly train attributes to develop a highly functional, intuitive, physically adaptive individual.
