Hey, I never figured out whats the use of those angel things, can you tell me whats their use?

When the yellow angel is active, you are not supposed to shoot at all for its duration. If you do that, the next 'angel' will be a Yumechan, where any enemy killed will drop a Powerup.

Took a while for me to figure it out even while watching IcarusFW's videos of the game. His stage 1 video shows what it does.
