I think it is gross, but it is brilliant in the fact that it sticks in your mind forever...pretty imaginative concept. Who else would have the balls to do a video like this? I actually like it because it goes against the grain.

This actually might be a song about how tiring the pop music industry is. He notices that he has to escalate just to get attention and love. The crowd of women only responded jubilantly when he tore up his flesh and had his blood and flesh on them.
Robbie Williams is actually one of the few pop stars who managed to engage a very mainstream, casual audience while still being able to sneak in his own genuine sentiments.
A pity most of modern pop stars are now just stylish pretenders.
