The second Sunday in December is Worldwide Candle Lighting Day. December 14, 2008 was that date this year. It is to light a candle in memory of all children who have died so they are not forgotten. This is dedicated to those of us who have lost our children to homicide.

It is Tonight I Hold this Candle by Alan Pedersen. It is such a beautiful song and so fitting for those of us who have lost our children.
