In response to the misleading arguments "put forward by those who seek to distort and undermine the science of climate change," a top British scientific academy produced this "overview of the current state of scientific understanding of climate change to help non-experts better understand some of the debates in this complex area of science."

The models predicted:

1. surface warming accompanied by cooling of the stratosphere

2. warming of the lower, mid, and upper troposphere

3. warming of ocean surface waters

4. energy imbalance between incoming sunlight and outgoing infrared radiation

5. sharp and short-lived cooling of a few tenths of a degree in the event of large volcanic eruptions

6. amplification of warming trends in the Arctic region

All of these predictions came true.

Nuclear is toxic after 30 years, has to be dismantled & STORED, costing FOREVER! Plus - IT's GONE in 30 years & has to be replaced!

Why can't we take desert tracts of land= CHEAP! Then cover them with solar(More buying will LOWER costs eventually as will better tech- like with computers!) + Solar on ALL gov/school rooftops = lower costs + insulation from the sun's heat= less Gov costs/TAXES! Less DEMAND = lower energy costs for USA = MORE disposable income= better economy! 30 yrs = NOT TOXIC!

You all wish you had a Turbine, Solar or GeoThermo in your yard, which supplied all your energy and the extra you could sell for profit. For all you jokers that say that it can't be done, think of the money we can make selling our extra electrical energy to the world, since most of the products that we produce can not be bought by most of the world, they cost too much. So why not export our extra energy! With Solar Satellites we will lead the world. That is the reason we should do it!
