@MaKaNa916 Caloric surplus is a must, that is unless someone can calculate exactly how much food is needed to fully repair the damaged muscles. You see building muscles is a 'simple' process of damaging, repairing and fortifying. And like building anything, you need materials. If you don't use all the material, you store them ...as fat.
So bulking up and cutting down really don't go hand in hand, not for most people anyway.

in the pictures that Taylor lautner takes, all his muscles are excentuated. In real life he's in good shape but they make him look alot better on film.

How many years did it take for you to get in that shape? I've been training for about a year now, but I only have a 4 pack, how long did it take you to get the whole 6-pack? I'm also physically handicapped but I want to prove to myself that anyone can change their body appearance through hard work. Also, is it true that to build muscle you have to be in a caloric surplus at the end of the day? I tried this and I started to get less cut so I stopped. Thanks for any help
