Georgia became independent after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Since that time it's the place of continuous political struggle. But the day of November the 7th, 2007 Georgia will never forget. Thousands of armed riot police on one side thousands of opposition supporters on the other, protesting against the Georgian president and saying they wouldn't go till their demands are met.
