Senior Keeper Asaba Mukobi explains how first-time mom Peggy and her caracal kittens are doing five weeks after birth. Peggy gave birth on June 18, 2011.

They seem very chill and docile. They don't seem to mind being picked up and jostled by their handlers. Kinda different from my pet cat!

These cats make good pets. We have two, 1 male and female they get along great with our house cats. The only problems I have is they are bed hogs. My male Kasper, snuggles right under my chin every night with his paw in my hand. I use automatic cat boxes two of them and there has not been a single problem with that either.
