@autodidactbreather It does not look much like Pip Pyle from other pics on the web, nor from how I recall him, but that was at a later point, in the National Health Days, late 70s. So I think you heard it right.

the commentator says the drummer is Rachid Houari - he played drums & percussion on a lot of their early LPs.

To answer the drums question, that should be Pip Pyle on drums - his face looks familiar from a National Health album and he was their drummer in that era. Sadly Pip as well as other Gong great drummer, Pierre Moerlen are now passed on.

Je n'avais plus un souvenir précis de ce " Pop 2 " de Patrice Blanfrancard ; j'avais 16 ans ...je n'avais pas tout compris ! Ca c'était du Camembert ! Maintenant même un Coulommiers qui coule au milieu , en ces temps où on coule au mieux , c'est pas ça .
