  • what a perfect video to post for a john hartford memorial...a wedding fiddler

  • Ran out of room... Max Baer Jr was the only living original cast member to refuse to do the movie.

  • This was a made for tv movie. In it Granny has passed on, and Jed has moved back to the hills. The "Old Lady" was Grannys Maw. Elly has a zoo to take care of her critters, Jethro has the movie studio. Miss Jane was working for the government, Dept of Energy. She was looking for the recipe to Granny's whit Lighting to solve the energy crisis, and found out that it was Granny's maw's recipe that granny had always used. That, by the way was, if I recall correctly, miss Jane's wedding party.

  • Aunt Edna!

  • Rodney and his wife are evangelist's now....saw em on Jim baker......whoa....all the worlds gonna end garbage?????

  • I missed this episode, man thats awesome, I cover there goin to tear down the grand ole opry on my page. Does anyone know if their is him performing this song anywhere on youtube?

  • What a great video!

  • I never saw this before either. I did know John Hartford. I knew him for about 28 years. I sure do miss him.

  • I have never seen this pilot film before. I think it's GREAT!!! Imogene Coca was always a top notch class actress. I wonder where cousin Roy was alias(Roy Clark) Too Bad he did'nt make it for the gig and viddles:):):):).

  • The woman playing Granny in this is Imogene Coca, who was on The Show of Shows with Sid Caesar. But it was Irene Ryan who played her on the T.V. series. Where did this come from? I never saw it.
