@MrSoymoney I agree to a point. I did alot of LSD back then and it affected my social behavior. I struggled with a stutter as a kid and I can always tell when someone has had to overcome it. I can see it Jimi.
Jimi had great world vision and tried to get his message out much like Ghandi or Jesus Christ. Even though tbe Brits embraced him, he was so misunderstood. He would try in interviews but would use his usual substitute cliche phrases to back out of what he really wanted to say

Jimi is noted (historically & factually) as being shy. One of the hallmarks of being shy is to avoid eye contact. He was also highly intelligent and athletic (a fucking para trooper in the Military). He was not heavily into drugs, he did them recreationally like most people do. His music proves that he was more into art/life than drugs.

@lorax121323 My theory is that that is an effect of LSD. Not exclusively while on it but after taking it. After I had done a lot of acid at one point in my life people told me my social behaviour changed. I find it diffecult to maintain eye contact and speak to the person at the same time. I could be wrong. Maybe it's just an effect it had on me but it's a possibility that it effected Jimi in that way as well. Just throwing an idea out there :)

I find many talented artists don't like eye contact, it makes them feel uncomfortable staring in to someones soul.
