@fishinky365 It is actually something I made myself - perhaps I'll do a video on it. Basically two pvc pipes bolted on to a pail. Works great.

@fishinky365 It is an ugly stick. It was a $50 rod & reel combo. The rod is still as good as the day it was new 3 years ago, and I have been hard on it. I've pulled it off of snags with 50 # braid on it, and I winch the catfish straight up a 25 ft wall when I fish at the location in this video. The reel has begun to cause some problems - the bail doesn't flip over automatically anymore. Maybe all it needs is some oil and a good cleaning.

@MrDLTHAYER86 This spot is known more for numbers than size. :) You can occasionally chance on an eight or ten pounder, but for every one of those you probably get about 30 at two or three pounds like the ones I'm catching in the video.

@backwoods4life That is what I do as well if the water is low enough to wade across to the rocks. I usually take a look at the Hancock gauge on the Internet before I make the trip to Dam 5. If the gauge shows 4.5 ft or lower, you can usually get across to the rocks.

@MrDLTHAYER86 I'm from the McConnellsburg, PA area - I have about 45 minutes to Dam 5. This spring I got a MD license for the first time and have been doing a good bit of fishing around Dam 5. Still exploring to see what other spots I can find. I fished Dam 4 a little bit in the afternoon on July 4th of last year (free day), but didn't stay long enough to really try it out.
