Board Chairman Don McLeroy hammers (and hammers) his point home about stasis disproving evolution, mostly by cherry-picking statements from Stephen Jay Gould. "We have to be honest with our kids!" cries Chairman Don.

OH so that's what stasis is (I looked it up on google). Um ok, that doesn't imply evolution doesn't happen. Just b/c MOST organisms evolve physiologically as most fossils indicate, doesn't mean ALL species will, even if they reproduce generation after generation with genetic variation anyway. "Looks" - just about the only characteristic visible from fossils - are only one small part of evolution. Even IF we hadn't evolved.

There is a stasis of tooth development! There is scientific data that show teeth are in stasis then suddenly when we grow up new ones appear! We need to teach our kids that god makes all of our teeth appear. Someone has to stand up to these dentists!

Please teach the theory of the Flying Spaghetti Monster if you are going to teach intelligent design. Otherwise, you're either a hypocrite... OR you have a christian agenda. My FSM has as much intelligent design value as your god. In total honesty, I am SHOCKED that this is even an issue. Texas should secede from the US. If we in England did not have to deal with anymore Texans in politics... or in our country... or dealing in weapon trading... we'd be a much happier people ourselves.
