@Herakles2412 By the way Ave Maria has often been sung in German as well,not only in Italian and English! And it was often sung by Great Luciano Pavarotti in duets with Bono and other stars! I Would you dare to say that PAVAROTTI didn`t respect Shubert?!.Or he should have also taken permission from you. Poor thing,he didn`t know about your existence or he would have done it! HE may even have taken you as his manager to decide for him how to perform it,who with and in what language!

@SuperCatherine11 Don't worry, I am quiet and absolutely free of any envy! I simply don't like, when people with limited capacity are overestimated and divinized. Concerning versions, I don't know what about you speak. Franz Schubert lived 200 years ago, his Ave Maria is a classical work and it's a matter of respect to perform this piece like it was created, i.e. neither in English, nor in Italian (like your friend seagal believes), even not in German (Schubert's mother tongue), but in Latin!
