This is a behind the scenes of my new set i made. All of the miniatures came from my grandma. The puppet has an armature i made inside of him. I had to sew on the fabric for clothes. So far he only has 5 replacement mouths. He has magnets on his feet and there is a cookie tray underneath the set to help him stand. The cane is made of bent wire.
This puppet is going to be in a new series I'm making. It's going to be about an old man talking about his days and polotics. ( He has the hots for John Mcains mother!)So tell me anything wrong with it before i make the film so i can fix it. I will listen to what you say. I might post the audio of the film later.

So hope you like it,
Walkerion

P.S. Don't you HATE hearing yourself in the microphone!

  • For the best "smoothness", choose 24 fps. And why don't you just place the set on a big ass table? :P And be carefull of the lightning. You should glue the furnitures to the walls. (those you aren't gonna move later on) And get a bigger set so you can handle the character with no problem.

  • So far i have glued the furniture on the wall but i can't use the big table. 1st reason is because i need the cookie tray underneath to help the puppet stand and i don't need it. But thanks! :)

  • Sorry, *Plant Pots*

  • I agree, ur set needz to be alot bigga.. i just headed out to my local craft store, and picked up a chair, pc and keyboard miniature models! i also picked up a massive bluescreen for maximium of £2.00 and just sum plant bots.. I have a create big table so it aint a problem for me.. but i say u change ur work space.

  • Awesome set!

  • You did a good job on this. :)

  • I tried using magnets once. Didn't work out so well. There's nothing like using tie downs when you want to replicate realistic footsteps. good lookin set by the way.

  • you are welcome! :)

  • alright ill take your advice thanks (:

  • just try. find some tutorials online. when you start it just gets easier and easier. Keep trying
