FINALLY!

You all have been SO PATIENT with me, and I'm pleased to announce I've put up a tutorial for the 5 Flat Twists Twist-Out! I really hope you all find this helpful. Just a couple of notes for folks:

I do this style on previously stretched hair--I don't like the shrinkage I get when I do it on freshly-washed hair. I don't stretch my hair with any heat, such as a blowdryer or hair dryer. Instead, I cowash my hair and then do a braidout. I then do the twists on my second-day hair. The twistout in this video was done on 3-day-old hair. Leave any comments or questions below.

Also, I've started using a new video editor, so if you like the changes, let me know! Hit the "Like" button! I'm going to work on making sure the new video editor retains my HD quality, so hopefully the next video is clearer.

And one more thing...I don't own the song playing in the background, but it's one of my favorites (I Adore You - Esperanza Spalding).

Thanks for watching =)

  • Wow!

    You look good...

And you have realy realy nice arms with very cool pretty bicep muscles! :-)

Can u pls tell how you got them and show a flex? Pls ;-))

  • Thank you so much for this! I was twisting individuals and it was taking me hours! This is so much faster! Now, if only I could get the flat twisting down like you lol Great informational video!

  • I love your hair, your blogs, your videos. Thank you! I'm literally about to try this now. I always do like smaller flat twists in the front and a bunch of twists in the back. I'm going to try this & hopefully get the same amount of definition. It would save me SO MUCH TIME!

  • your twists are so pretty!!! A little difficult to see but they turned out really nice.

  • Love your hair. I'm currently transitioning & you are truly an inspiration. OT, but where did you get your earrings? I love them! TIA...

  • Very coool!!! :)

  • Nicely done. I like the starting hair style too.

  • You and your hair are both lovely ♥

  • love this! I've only done a successful twist out once and it was by accident! lol Do the results vary if the hair is freshly washed or if its on an older style?
