This video has exceeded my expectations with views, I thank everyone who has watched, and everyone who has commented. If you have any specific questions, please let me know.

The guitar that I played during the demo, was a song by my favorite singer-songwriter, Jonathan Coulton, called a talk with george. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf_x-80gJ6Q)

If you watched and enjoyed this video, please watch this one as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SDt189xGt0

Blue, for some reason, refuses to acknowledge this video; I would like to set them straight.

  • Can you use any type of shockmount for the mic?

  • @xxxUniiKxxx Yes, I'm almost positive they're all the same. I do know the Bluebird itself is not proprietary.

  • It was some cheap Musician's Gear stand, it didn't take very long before it broke. You can actually see in the video that I was using a clamp to keep it up. Now I use Tama (Yes, Tama) MS205; I love it.

  • Is it way better than Spark? Thanks.

  • @Nullll1111 I have not used the spark, but the Bluebird is only $100 more, so it probably isn't a make-or-break difference.

  • @Nullll1111 what kinda mic stand are you using????

  • I pulled the thin almost paper-like washers out of shock mount where the screw is that adjusts the position and it holds pretty well. definitely poor design
