  • most def. im for the most part pro choice. Based on science i dont believe it to be a thinking human being. and while it is life , its just like any other life form , even the gametes themselves. which is why i dont get the at conception concepts since its just cellular multiplication with a specific objective.

So to deem the start of life at conception makes no logical sense. it would technically be before it.

  • @SolidSnape84 Well if I had to choose one and Side with one, I would say I am Pro-Choice... I am not comfortable with telling people what to do... I have my own opinion on it but I like having people to be able to have a choice between what they want to do, because People are going to do what they will anyway. So to answer your question, I am pro-choice but only up to a certain point. ^_^

  • I agree, plus I mean, a lot of people will compare this to their personal experiences with a family member or w/e being in a vegetative state. But we are talking about giving a woman a choice to undo a mistake before a fetus can have neural function, it's just a mass of cells at that point. Aborting after that point, yeah that's kinda messed up, but to me it's the rights of an adult or near adult person, to choose NOT to make a life long commitment from a mistake vs something a clump of cells.

  • @tjdude09 Yeah but you think it's only okay with the condition of it being rape and/or incest or risk to the mothers life. If it doesn't meet those conditions, she doesn't have much of a choice now does she? So technically, you do have a problem with what that person decides, it doesn't work both ways, you're either pro life or pro choice or in the compromising/logic driven mindset.

  • Well, I have a Family member who is in a vegetative state and he is very much alive in my opinion. Myself, I am pro-life all the way except in terms of rape and/or incest and risk to the mother's life. But I do also believe people should have the right to choose what they want to do. I have no problem with that.
