Meh your forgetting she was insanely in love with angel, I mean gotta be a Huge hindrance to fighting ability. I just think Buffy comes above everyone on the show, due to raw determination, heart and actual fighting ability. The end of Season Two She kicks the s*** out of him.

The way you described Spike he kind of reminds me of Kenpachi Zaraki.

I don't consider Spike a "hero" because he's more like the "anti-hero" ala Punisher. He's basically a merc for hire.
Though I like the idea of the Initiative project, I hated the Riley/Buffy plot. It was awful.

I love Spike's monologue at the beginning of "In the Dark" (Angel season 1) Hilarious.

My favorite part about Spike is when he becomes insulted when someone tells him they don't know who the Clash are.

Don't think Spike could take Buffy in a fight,,, But I do believe he killed off a couple Slayers, something I don't think Angelus ever did. In Fact I think Angelus warned Spike about slayers, which only made him search them out, for the challenge.

That's weird I had the opisite thought. I thought Spike is better then Angel but less so then Buffy. I always assumed Buffy was stronger because in Angel season one they skirmish he says "I forgot your stronger then me"

stronger doesnt mean better.skill is what matters. angel could have ill buffy when was evil half the time if he just keep his mouth shut and finished her quickly. in after the fall angel takes spike out and he is a human when he does it.
