I Realize that hun I was taught to hate by my family growing up but people can be changed and people taught to teach tolerance and not hate. Certain aspects of human nature are nurtured hatred being one of them things can be changed it may not happen right away and there may always be a few who fight good but if we can teach enough people to out number them then they can do less damage and right now in our country we are not doing enough at all infact its quite pathentic what litttle we do.

Prayers for Bobby is an amazing movie. Bobby's mother was able to change after her son killed himself. You are right people can and do change but it is sometimes too late.

I agree with everything you say except the example of Hitler, it was impossible for that soldier to know or predict what Hitler would become, therefore you lay the blame in the wrong hands. You represent an emerging generation of people who are fed up with hatred. But hatred is easy to spot in others, and difficult to recognize in ourselves. I have now learned to understand haters without hating them back. We must neutralize hatred with true and profound fairness and justice. Education is the answer!

A few Westboro freaks came to my area a few months ago here in upstate New York. What's funny was that they protested near a high school that supposedly were "fag-enablers". This school, called Albany High, is probably one of the most homophobic schools around here. People from my college and others around the area protested and were really successful I believe in battling the hate. What's even sadder is that a 5 year old girl was with them. She is being completely brain-washed.
