The Jacquard Pearl Ex Pigments are not developed for makeup, however, mica powder is commonly used to colour makeup products. I have read quite a few reviews on people who have used it for years and have not had any problems. If you are not sure about it, don't use it. Additionally, many MAC pigments are not suitable to use around the eyes, I have and not had a problem.

I have that same NYC lipstick. Normally I'm not crazy about NYC products but that lippie is one I really like - not bad for 2 bucks! :) I like their face powder too.

Yeah, I am definitely not partial to any particular brand. I like MAC and MUFE mostly for their colour selection, however, I am attracted to anything bright, regardless of the brand! :D

how much were those pigments from michaels?

Be careful with the Mica. If it is not a cosmetic grade it may cause irritation or worse! I'm guessing that since you got it from Michael's, that it would be a industrial grade used only for crafts. Check the label to be sure. If it is a cosmetic grade...great! Try making your own nail polish or anything else.

I agree! I don't wear makeup because I have to. I wear it because I want to. I don't wear make up much anymore so it's nice to "get ready" sometimes. Haha.

Anddd I wish we had Annabelle products here in the US.
