We've taught you the water absorbing secret behind the polymer inside diapers, but did you know that a Diaper Genie bag is a great way to demonstrate some properties of air? That's right! That plastic smell-shield isn't just for odor defense any longer. Now you can use the thin plastic bag to show Bernoulli's Principle and amaze your friends.

  • @leafdaniel its the princible of the idea.

  • @leafdaniel thin plastic bags are the second biggest cause of blindness in the world.

  • i want to see his face

  • @leafdaniel air is dangerous!

  • Because your superman?

  • when you blow into the bag up close it "ricochet's" back and cancels out the air

  • its just when you blow in the moving air makes more air around it move in the same direction, making more air go in the bag, the farther you blow from the more it will fill up.

  • if i bought the stuff for diapers my mom would freak out

  • @MrMarkCastle Wrong. You can start with the bag completely flat on a table with just the end you are blowing into open. The Bernoulli effect is that as a fluid increase in speed its pressure drops. There are 2 ways of looking at it from this point forward. 1. the air rushing into the bag has created a point of low pressure at the opening and is now pulling more air into it. 2. by creating a low pressure point through a channel the outside air now pushes more air into the bag to fill it.

  • @leafdaniel You may have super breath, enabling you to over inflate the bag, creating such a blast of pressure that the entire room would collapse upon, putting huge amounts of debris in the air!!!!

In my opinion you should wear a full bodied blast suit before trying something this dangerous.
