Mushrooms are in season and "schroom hunting guide" Dave took me out and we got some great Morels. I fry them in nothing but butter.

  • dip em egg and milk mix then just shake andy's fish breading on them in bag , then deep fry, be the best fried shrooms you ever had~!

  • I use pancake mix with beer (can use 7up) and deep fat fry them

  • marinade in marsala cooking wine for 5 min, then melt butter with sum fresh garlic for 4 min..add schrooms..salt n pepper a lil..add diced up pieces of sun dried tomatoes at last min...o ya..!!

  • i just fry them in butter no flour mom fries um in floor and butter (Ohio)

  • That's the way to do it. SImple, fresh, yum.

  • I also dip my morel in egg and then roll in cracker crumb,and if you want to deep freeze them the best way i have found isto cook them first with the egg and cracker recipe and then freeze them, that way you can enjoy them all year !!!

  • Hey, A lot of people here in the mid-west cook them dipped in egg batter, I like the in nothing but butter.
