well i write to it a open=backup.bat (example)
nothing happen but if i write
open=backup.bat
action=backup.bat
it work try it :)

I wrote
[autorun]
open=myapp.exe
I moved my file named myapp.exe that is an exe file, and i replugged it in and nothing happened...just same old "do u wana scan" crap..ill sub for help

Help me! None of the autorun files, including the ones I didn't make, works! I tried another pc and the same file worked fine. Why won't my pc run autorun files?

and hey having an autorun file in a USB drive will become kinda a VIRUS
why doesnt the autorun work for me? i have gotten autoruns to work in the past. i am trying to make it open my backup thing. this is what it looks like:
[autorun]
open=backup.bat
It just doesnt work. >:(

check and make sure that backup.bat is named correctly and is located in the same place as the autorun file. Also make sure that the autorun file is saved as .inf and not as a text file.
